A Diwali Fete was organized at DLF Gardencity Sports Complex, Sector 91 in Gurgaon on 22nd Oct’16. With Diwali in the offing, the event received an overwhelming response from all age groups amongst New Town Heights residents. There was mood of cheer and festivity from the beginning, which reached crescendo as the events for the evening unfolded.

The main attractions included dance performances by a professional troupe and shopping kiosks offering variety of décor items, jewelry, clothes, etc.

Children had a rollicking time in play/ activity area that had been especially created for them. The tattoo artists and pottery sessions saw enthusiastic response not only from the kids but also from their parents. Multiple food stalls were available, offering variety of scrumptious cuisines to delight the palate of all and sundry.

The evening concluded with a mesmerizing display of fireworks, which lit up the sky in a myriad of colors and patterns.

Mr. Ranvijay , an enthusiastic resident of DLF Gardencity said, “We were all delighted to learn that the Diwali Fete was being organized in our township. Not only did we have frolicful time but also I picked up very beautiful painted diyas for my home, which I cannot wait to light on Diwali. On behalf of all the residents, I must offer my compliments and gratitude to the organizers for conducting such a stupendous event for us”.
