Bury differences, Babu tells leaders

Visakhapatnam: Telugu Desam Party president N. Chandrababu Naidu asked his party leaders and activists to bury their differences so as to strengthen the party at the grassroots. Addressing the party leaders at Tallarevu under Kasimkota mandal in the district on Monday, Babu said the party has been gaining strength and if the important leaders and cadre fight over petty issues, all the efforts would go waste giving advantage to others.

He was obliquely referring to the fight between the politburo member Ch Ayyanna Patrudu and former minister Bandaru Satyanarayana Murthy and whose supporters clashed on NTR birth anniversary function held at Pendurthy. Former city president Peela Srinivasa Rao obstructed the entry of Bandaru Satyanarayana Murthy which led to a minor clash in the party.

Later Srinivasa Rao was suspended and Ayyanna Patrudu quit his politburo membership. But the things patched up later with the intervention of party president.A In the review meeting Dadi Veerabhadra Rao, Ayyanna Patrudu and Satyanarayana Murthy and other senior leaders were present. Babu after returning from Avanigadda resumed his padayatra prior to his meeting.
