Food connoisseurs in the city had a gala time. Renowned chef Benjamin Lalmangaiha conducted an interactive session on Thai cuisine at Thai Pavillion, Vivanta by Taj.

The culinary journey began with sensory delights emanating from the interactive kitchen, where the chefs Benjamin and Arjun demonstrated each dish with the finest premium ingredients to create authentic Thai dishes. It was a magical experience to savour the traditional Thai cuisine with the cooking demonstration.
Chef Benjamin unraveled the glorious cuisine by putting together a unique compilation of vegetarian and non-vegetarian delicacies. He prepared the dishes with authentic ingredients and traditional flavours with aromatic hand-pounded spices such as Thai holy basil, mint, lemongrass and galangal (Thai ginger).
Gaeng Pak Chee Kub Samun Prai (Coriander Soup with Vegetables, Prawn & Chicken), Satay Kai (Chicken satay with peanut sauce), Poh Pia Je (Thai style spring roll), Kaiphad Med Ma Muangand (Stir fried chicken with cashew nut), Phad Thai Je (Flat rice noodle with vegetables) were a foodies delight.
An exquisite selection of desserts such as Spiced Crème Brûlée with sun dried rose petals, Fakthong Sangkaya (steamed pumpkin custard flavoured with jaggery and pandana) and Tub Tim Grob (diced water chestnut with coconut milk) were the highlights of the menu.
