People who create their own DRAMA deserve their own KORMA :-P ! witty quotes as such adorn the walls of the newly opened Hello Curry restaurant in Hitech City. The concept of Hello curry is “Fast Food for Fast Indians”, perhaps the world’s first fast food Indian Chain.

Located in the new food corridor of hitech city, Hello Curry is exactly opposite to Cyber pearl with Eagle Boyz pizza, Cibo, Subway & Star Bucks for Company.

The ambiance resembles to a place that is straight out of a comic book, which undoubtedly beats other places in its league.

Was invited to trial their menu that comprised of Starters, Wraps, Biryanis, Curries, Pulavs and Deserts. Almost 80% of the menu that we tasted were good for an Indian Concept of Fast food. From the starters tried their Masaledar Chicken which was roasted in a typical coastal Andhra way, The Chicken Tikka was another delight that was soft and tender. The crispy chicken finger chips were decent enough but not too appealing, I would’ve loved the mint chutney to be even more thick. From the veg starters, the corn fingers & mutter tikki were my favorites, the paneer could’ve been better.

Also had the opportunity to try their new Pizza Paratha that was loaded with cheese, this definitely will define the term fast food. The lacchaparatha went well with the Kashmiri Chicken &Chettinad Chicken, however the star among them was the KaramKodi. These curries went well with the Chicken pulao as well. Infact the Chicken Pualo in itself was flavorsome and well balanced. The initial portion of Dum biryani that was served was a tad bit dry but then as you continue to dig into it you are in for a surprise portion that is not very spicy but aptly balanced, yet flavorful. Loved it !!

For now they have only two deserts, Double Kameetha&KurbaniKameetha. The double kameetha was served with whipped cream and was outstanding while the kurbanikameetha was a passe.

Inspite of the initial few hiccups, Hello curry impressed me in every section.

Although the service is a self-service concept, Hello Curry promises to serve food in 180 seconds, very aptly like their tag line… “Fast food for Fast Indians”..that’s a lightning speed !

Final verdict: Leave behind KFC, McDonalds, Dominos and make way for Hello Curry – our desiworld’s first fast food Indian chain is here to stay.

Thumbs up for this one !
