Food lovers in the city have yet another reason to rejoice. Khandani Rajdhani opened their twenty-eighth unit, the second in the city, at Forum Sujana Mall on Thursday. The restaurant, which serves specialises in Rajasthani and Gujarati food, is offering a wide range of recipes on the thali, which is an appetising kaleidoscope of complementing colours, textures and flavours. Although homogenous in nature, each katori in the thali looks distinct from the other to give you a perfect medley of flavours with each bite.

Gaurav Goenka, managing director, Mirah Hospitality, “Khandani Rajdhani is our flagship brand and we are so proud to see the strong foothold it has created. We have chalked out a steady growth plan for the brand and will soon be announcing the launch of two more units in south India. We will also foray into the international market with Dubai and Singapore next year.”

Aji Nair, vice president, F&B division, Mirah Hospitality, said, “South India has always been an important market for us and we are truly happy to be here. Our first unit at Banjara Hills has been loved by the city. That unit has just received the popular Times Food Award.”

Some of the delicacies served in the traditional thali include mattar khasta roll, Barsadolla, Hariwalipatra, Jodhpuri pakoda. etc. Desserts include apple jalebi, tamatar halwa, akhrot halwa, khajur barfi and dry fruit halwa. The restaurant will also have a special 3 to 7 pm a-la-carte snacks menu that includes dishes like chilli sev puri, tokri dahi chaat, pav bhaji. vada pav and dabeli among others.
