Boston: Good news for all the coffee lovers! McDonald's is now planning to expand its flavoured coffee sales to their restaurants.

The burger giant will no longer limit its flavoured coffee to just supermarkets as they have started to offer the brewed flavour coffee at restaurants in at least one US market.

However, it is still unclear whether this will be extended throughout U.S. or not, reported the Christian Science Monitor.

On the hunt for incremental customer traffic, the fast food chain is looking at flavored McCafe hot coffee. The burger chain has served flavoured iced McCafe coffees since 2007, a year after it introduced its Premium Roast coffee, and offers French Vanilla and Hazelnut flavours in the bagged coffee that are sold in supermarkets in collaboration with Kraft.

Talking about the expansion, a spokesperson said that the flavoured coffee is a "Local Option" menu item being promoted in one market but the beverages were not now being introduced nationally.

Giving a look at its competitors, Dunkin' Donuts and Starbucks, who already sell some flavored hot coffees, this could be a great change for the burger giant to multiply its revenue.
