From April until December 2016, nine internationally-acclaimed chefs including Nobu, Jean-Georges Vongerichten, Enrico Crippa, Neil Perry, Julien Asséo and Yannick Alléno will take team up with One&Only Resorts to create a series of extraordinary culinary events, with kitchen takeovers and bespoke menus featured at each resort including One&Only Royal Mirage and One&Only The Palm in Dubai, One&Only Hayman Island and Emirates One&Only Wolgan Valley in Australia, One&Only Palmilla in Mexico, One&Only Ocean Club in The Bahamas, One&Only Cape Town and One&Only Le Saint Géran in Mauritius.

Joining the epicurean epic, winemakers and ambassadors from some of the world’s finest vineyards will create exceptional wine experiences for guests, from exclusive wine-pairings to tastings of rare back vintages and wine master classes. Guests will have the chance to immerse themselves in the extraordinary world of such iconic vineyards as Châteaux Margaux, Louis Roederer Cristal, Opus One, Penfolds Grange and Billecart Salmon, and will also have the priceless opportunity to meet the guest chef and wine-maker during an ultra-luxury stay like no other.

The first chapter of ‘The Ultimate Global Culinary Adventure’ will take place on 28 April 2016 at One&Only Royal Mirage and will feature cuisine by Chef Alain Solivérès from the Michelin-starred Taillevent Restaurant in Paris, paired with the elegant Champagne of Billecart Salmon and Rhône valley Hermitage La Chapelle.

From October, the epicurean roadshow heads to the Southern Hemisphere to One&Only Hayman Island, where Scott Huggins and Emma McCaskill of Magill Estate will match their cuisine to Australia’s revered Penfolds Grange wines. On 25 October, Chef Yannick Alléno will bring his signature style to create a grand one-off degustation at One&Only The Palm, matched with a flight of wines from the incomparable Bordeaux cellars of Châteaux Margaux. Also in October, British star chef James Lowe from Lyle’s London will bring his signature cuisine to One&Only Le Saint Géran in Mauritius.

The following month, the recently reimagined One&Only Ocean Club will welcome legendary chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten who will host a signature experience on 10 November with feature wines selected from the fabled Opus One vineyard in California. On 11 November, One&Only Palmilla in Los Cabos will welcome chef Julien Asseo of the iconic Guy Savoy restaurant in Paris who will serve up an unforgettable menu matched exclusively to Mexico’s highly regarded Villa Franes wines. From 12-14 November, Australia’s acclaimed chef Neil Perry will take over the kitchen at Emirates One&Only Wolgan Valley for an unforgettable produce-driven two days paired to wines from the Bass Phillip vineyard. The One&Only Culinary Adventure will conclude at One&Only Cape Town on 2 December where Nobuyuki Matsuhisa – known to the world simply as “Nobu” – will partner with South Africa’s Meerlust Wines for a truly memorable dining experience.
