Hyderabad: Suspense continues on TRS candidates in 10 Assembly and one Parliament segment with the party announcing its nominees for 109 Assembly and 16 MP seats so far. TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao was closeted with key leaders to finalise candidates for these segments when last reports came in. Clarity on the TRS candidate for Malkajgiri Lok Sabha seat was, however, obtained by Tuesday evening with the joining of Mynampalli Hanumantha Rao in the presence of Rao. It is understood he will be fielded from Malkajgiri even though the party is yet to make an official statement on it.
Tungathurthy, Munugode, Nalgonda, Dubbaka, Ibrahimpatnam, Serilingampally, Yellandu, Jubilee Hills, Paler and Rajendranagar are the pending segments in which TRS has not made up its mind. Karne Prabhaker, Ramalinga Reddy, Dr Sravan, Naini Narsimha Reddy and some others are keeping their fingers crossed hoping to get accommodated. Meanwhile, it is understood, that TRS leadership is in touch with senior Congress leader Malreddy Ranga Reddy regarding Ibrahimpatnam segment.
