Balayya from Hindupur

Hyderabad: Film actor Balakrishna is all set to make political debut from Hindupur Assembly segment in Anantapur district. Though his name did not figure in the first list of Seemandhra candidates for the Assembly on Wednesday, Balakrishna met TDP chief and his brother-in-law N Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday evening. Both were learnt to have discussed on the Assembly seat from where the film star should contest in the upcoming polls. Party insiders claim that Balakrishna is keen on contesting from Hindupur Assembly seat, which was earlier represented by his father and party founder NT Rama Rao. Naidu has also almost decidedto field the film actor from the same seat, which is considered a safe bet for Nandamuri family. A formal announcement with regard to this will be made in a couple of days, sources said.
