Hyderabad: Amidst many twists, finally it is Balakrishna who will be contesting from Hindupur on Telugu Desam Party ticket in the looming polls, according to sources of Telugu Desam Party. Both Hari Krishna and Bala Krishna wanted to contest from the same constituency creating suspense over the allocation of ticket for the subject constituency. Naidu has kept the matter pending over a period of time. After so many deliberations, at last it was decided to allocate the ticket for Balakrishna.
It is worth mentioning here that Hindupur is TDP’s critical constitution. Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, the late Chief Minister and founder president of Telugu Desam Party got elected from the same constitution for as many as three times. Due to the same, reportedly, the siblings have been fighting to contest from the same constitution. Balyya is learned to file his nomination on April 16, reportedly.
