Asansol (Agencies): BJP Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi on Sunday strongly reacted to West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee's barb that he was only a "paper tiger." "You are talking about the tiger. If you have the guts... if you had put Saradha chit fund culprits in jail, conducted a probe and ensured the poor got their money back, then I would have admitted you are a tiger," Modi thus taunted her. He also dared the EC to take action on allegations of poll violence and rigging in West Bengal, Bihar and western Uttar Pradesh. "Why are you not acting? What is your intention? If you feel wrong about what I am saying now, then you are free to lodge another case against me," he said to the EC.

Asansol, WB: Complaining of booth rigging in West Bengal, Bihar and western Uttar Pradesh, Narendra Modi on Sunday alleged that the Election Commission (EC) was not acting impartially and dared it to take action against him. "Why are you not acting? What is your intention? If you feel wrong about what I am saying now, then you are free to lodge another case against me," Modi told an election rally here. Accusing EC of having failed to take action and that false cases were filed against BJP candidate Babul Supriyo, he said that the allegations he made were serious. He said poll violence and booth rigging took place in West Bengal, Bihar and western Uttar Pradesh. He said that the poll watchdog has all the government machinery at its disposal and has more powers than even the Prime Minister.
