Hyd artist’s works on display at Vijayawada
Emotions are what an art form depict and an art form of human feelings speaks volumes. Pasula Rajitha displayed her paintings on the theme `Kiss’ at the ongoing Women Artists Group Show at Aakriti Art Gallery in Vijayawada. The enthusiastic woman who did her Master\'s in Painting at Mysore, was once asked to create something out of her own thoughts which conceptualised the theme of human emotion and the paintings on kiss fetched her fame.

Rajitha of Hyderabad has created over 50 paintings on the theme of human emotion. Her art works highlight love and affection of human beings. A mother first kisses her newborn. The feeling expressed through a kiss is indescribable. The first kiss is very special in everyone’s life, be it a mother, a father, a teenager or a child. The emotions of a kiss can be felt only by humans.
I chose the theme kiss to describe how it is memorable and special for everyone. Most of my works have won appreciation from all quarters. Ten of my paintings have fetched me a good price at art exhibitions because of its theme which highlights love and affection of human beings. Enquiries from prospective buyers are pouring in,’’ said Rajitha.
