Digitalisation helps police in crime prevention: SP
The police department would progress further with the introduction of digitalisation, observed District SP Sunpreet Singh during a review meeting on the working styles of CCTNS. The meeting was held at AR head quarters here on Wednesday.
Asifabad: The police department would progress further with the introduction of digitalisation, observed District SP Sunpreet Singh during a review meeting on the working styles of CCTNS. The meeting was held at AR head quarters here on Wednesday.
Expressing satisfaction on its working, the SP said that as part of bringing modern technology into the district, they introduced Crime and Criminal Tracking Network System (CCTNS). This will enable the intra and inter-state police to exchange criminals’ information as to prevent crime rate, he said.
Sunpreet Singh said that Koutala circle is stood at first place in implementing CCTNS and praised the efforts of Koutala CI Acheswar Rao on the occasion.
The SP handed over a cash reward of Rs 2,000 to CCTNS assistant and constable Bhukya Gangadhar. DSP Habib Khan, Special Branch CI Venkateswar, Town CI Sathish, SB SIs Shiv Kumar, Shyam Sunder, PRO Manohar and others were present.
