Actor Bharath booked for drunken driving
Actor Bharath booked for drunken driving, Bharath, Ravi Teja’s brothers Bharath, Raghu Babu. “We booked him for drunken driving and also for causing nuisance in public. We produced him in the Miyapur court on Tuesday,” he added.
Telugu actor Bharath, younger brother of Ravi Teja, was arrested on Monday night for excessive drinking and misbehaving with police officers who tried to control him, police said on Tuesday.
“He was drunk while returning from a party near Madhapur. When we stopped him for a routine check and requested him to not drive in this condition, he lost his cool and misbehaved with a few police officers on duty,” said K Narsimulu, inspector, Madhapur police station.
“We booked him for drunken driving and also for causing nuisance in public. We produced him in the Miyapur court on Tuesday,” he added.
Not the first offence
This is not the first time Bharath has been arrested. In the past, he was busted for possession of drugs. Earlier in 2010, Ravi Teja’s brothers Bharath and Raghu Babu, were caught red-handed in a drug scam. Along with both of them another African citizen was also arrested by the police officials at Banjara Hills near Hyderabad House surroundings for their link-ups with drugs. The cops found 51 gm drugs, out of which 3gm were found with Ravi Teja brothers Raghu Babu and Bharath.
