42 Railway Engg Officers Graduate. Fourty two Indian Railways Service of Signal Engineering (IRSSE) Probationary Officers-2011 batch-passed out successfully in the training programme, of which eight were women.

Fourty two Indian Railways Service of Signal Engineering (IRSSE) Probationary Officers-2011 batch-passed out successfully in the training programme, of which eight were women. The IRISET has been imparting training in various modules of signal engineering and telecommunications including trainees from foreign countries and public sector undertakings.

Kul Bhushan, member, Electrical Railway Board, New Delhi; PK Srivastava, general manager, South Central Railway; Arun Saxena, advisor (signal), Railway Board, New Delhi; presented the passing out certificates and mementoes to the probationary officers.

P K Sivastava, General Manager, SCR, said that signalling and telecommunication fraternity amongst the railway personnel should play a pivotal role in enhancing rail efficiency, since most of the train movement was related to signalling operations. The general manager wanted that specific case studies on various occurrences on railways be put up for better analysis during the training programmes for the inductee officers.
