Honouring legendary vocalists, Vocalist K Vandana perfomed at a music festival at the Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao Government Music and Dance College on Tuesday.
Vocalist K Vandana perfomed at a music festival at the Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao Government Music and Dance College on Tuesday. The festival was organised to mark the 132nd birth anniversary of Parupalli Ramakrishnayya Pantulu. On day three of the five day festival, Modumudi Sudhakar presented a vocal concert in honour of the musician.
Another veteran, Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao, was honoured by government officials on Thursday. Minister for Information and Public Relations Palle Raghunadha Reddy, Minister for Excise Kollu Ravindra and Deputy Speaker of Assembly Mandali Buddha Prasad garlanded the bronze statue of Ghantasala at the Government Music and Dance College on the occasion of the 92nd birth anniversary of the legendary singer.
