Maruti Suzuki sits pretty with almost half of the Indian car market share, with the actual figure hovering around 44 per cent. The company manages to sell nearly a lakh units each month.
To keep their numero uno position in the market, Maruti is working on new models. For example, they have at least 4-5 car launches planned for launch within 2015. They have recently launched an updated Swift, their third largest selling car in India, and have plans to launch an all-new next-gen Swift in 2017 according to a report on Auto Express.
Suzuki has also started working on a more premium hatchback than Swift which will be placed over it and it is codenamed as YRA. YRA is also a global model and will be unveiled sometime next year and we can expect its launch towards the end of 2015 or early 2016.
