7-time Mr Andhra bags silver in bodybuilding meet
K Bala Krishna, a first year BA student of Satavahana College, won a silver medal in 60 kg category at the All India Inter- University Bodybuilding Championship held at Punjab Technical University in Jalandhar earlier this month.
K Bala Krishna, a first year BA student of Satavahana College, won a silver medal in 60 kg category at the All India Inter- University Bodybuilding Championship held at Punjab Technical University in Jalandhar earlier this month.
Bala Krishna, who represented KRU at the Inter-University Bodybuilding Championship, stood second in the competition in which 65 body builders from several universities in the country participated. Earlier he had won several medals at national level events. He also bagged the `Mr Andhra’ title seven times.
Krishna University vice-chancellor Vunnam Venkaiah, registrar D Surya Chandra Rao, Satavahana College principal S Nageswara Sarma and physical education lecturer B Ch Sangeeta Rao lauded the achievement of Bala Krishna.
