Kala Samithi fete closes with impressive ballet
The three-day golden jubilee celebrations of Andhra Nataka Kala Samithi concluded with an impressive dance ballet at Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao Government Music and Dance College on Sunday.
The three-day golden jubilee celebrations of Andhra Nataka Kala Samithi concluded with an impressive dance ballet at Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao Government Music and Dance College on Sunday.
Choreographed by KVV Satyanarayana, the Godha Kalyanam dance ballet regaled audience. Ch Ajaykumar as Godha Devi performed well in the ballet, for which music was composed by K Suryanarayana. The performance of other dancers including KVV Satyanarayana, Ch Srinivas, SK Padusha, K Hiranmayi and Rangavara Prasad was also impressive.
Veteran stage artiste Karnati Lakshmi Narasaiah was felicitated by the Kala Samithi. Tatavarthi Suryanarayana Rao, Dr Kamineni Pattabhiramaiah, Chukkapalli Kusalava, Gujjarlamudi Krupachari and others lauded the services rendered by Lakshmi Narasaiah for the development of the Samithi.
