Students set Aadhaar seeding record

Deputy Transport Commissioner (DTC) S Venkateswara Rao has underlined the role of students in completion of seeding of vehicle registration numbers and driving licences with Aadhaar cards in Krishna district. He presented certificates to the students of Sri Siddhartha Educational Institutions, who were invovled in the process. The students collected the details for seeding of 15,000 vehicle registration numbers and driving licences with Aadhaar cards, and the DTC said that it was done in record time. “The students also took part in a door-to-door survey to collect the details for Aadhaar seeding, besides motivating vehicle owners to go for Aadhaar linkage by explaining its benefits,” he said. Rao appealed to students to volunteer to help the RTA in Aadhaar seeding during their leisure time by taking it as a social responsibility.
