The Miss Vijayawada 2015 contest semi-final will be held in the city on Friday. Out of 227 entries, 19 girls were shortlisted for the semi-finals. Organiser G Sai said, “The grand finale of Miss Vijayawada contest will be held at Sai Jewel Convention Centre on Monday.
The winner and the first and second runners-up of the beauty contest will be eligible to participate in the Miss Andhra Pradesh 2015 contest. The beauty contest will also be organised in Guntur, West Godavari and other districts in the State to select candidates for the Miss Andhra Pradesh contest.’’
