Styles and Weaves Expo gets good response.The city’s fashionistas are in for a treat as a wide range of designer clothing and imported accessories are on display at Sesha Sai Function Hall.
The city’s fashionistas are in for a treat as a wide range of designer clothing and imported accessories are on display at Sesha Sai Function Hall. The three-day Styles and Weaves exhibition was inaugurated on Tuesday.
Each stall was filled with colorful, vibrant sarees made of traditional materials, kurtas, tunics, college wear, trendy party wear and accessories. Sarees ranging from Rs 3,000 to Rs 25,000 are put up for grabs alongside readymade blouses, semi-stitched salwars, and funky add-ons.
Kanjeevaram, Ikat print, Pochampally, Uppada, Jamdhani, Kashmiri silk, Kalamkari, cottons, linen, crepe, georgette and netted fabrics were special attractions. Artificial jewellery, studded and plated jewellery were also on display.
“About 70 stalls were set up by fashion designers, shop owners and manufacturers from nearly 18 States of the country. They are offering latest designs in the global wear which wouldn’t be available anywhere else,” said event organiser Manjulatha.The expo will be open from 10 am to 9 pm till Thursday.
