An official line of Avengers-inspired clothes for women has been unveiled by fashion website Hot Topic. The range is the result of a partnership between women’s pop culture apparel company Her Universe and Disney Consumer Products.
It includes items that were designed by competition winners who entered the Her Universe Geek Couture fashion show at last year’s Comic-Con in San Diego. The winning pair, Amy Beth Christenson and Andrew MacLaine, then worked with Her Universe founder Ashley Eckstein.
“It’s been such a pleasure to work with Amy and Andrew to create this line from their initial sketches to the final product sold in Hot Topic stores,” said Eckstein. “Geek fashion is a trend that’s here to stay.” The collection will be available from mid-May.v
