GHMC, Police commissioners inspect Banjara Hills
A team of senior officials from various departments visited Banjara Hills and other surrounding areas on Saturday to inspect the availability of civic amenities. The team, comprising Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Commissioner Somesh Kumar, Hyderabad Police Commissioner M Mahendar Reddy and other senior officials inspected Indira Nagar and several other areas for about two hours.

The team, comprising Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Commissioner Somesh Kumar, Hyderabad Police Commissioner M Mahendar Reddy and other senior officials inspected Indira Nagar and several other areas for about two hours.
The officials interacted with the local residents to enquire about works pertaining to lifting of garbage and other civic issues. Post inspection, the Commissioner directed the officials to sort out grievances at the earliest.Somesh Kumar said that the State Government’s main aim was to involve local people, Basthi committees, and public representatives to take up the developmental activities with much more transparency. He also briefed about elaborate arrangements being made for Swachh Hyderabad campaign, schedules to be held from May 16 to May 20.
