In a unique invention which would make the Prime Minister Narendra Modi smile and certainly work for his much-talked Swacch Bharat Abhiyan, a class XI student from Chhattisgarh Hemtripti Sahu, daughter of a farmer, has developed a wind energy based toilet model for the trains.

The invention has impressed one and all and it has been selected for a science seminar in Japan. Hemtripti has left for Japan on Wednesday and will return to India on May 21 The system of the toilet will work on the basis of the speed of the train, if train is running at a fast speed, the door below the toilet will automatically open and the excreta will fall out.


As the speed of the train gets lowered, automaticaly the doors will close, especially near to the railway station and at the platforms. This will help keep the filth away from the railway stations. Hemtripti is a resident of Dhaur village under Dhamdha block and her mother is an anganwadi worker. For her brilliant model, she was has been praised her invention at district and state level.
