Shangri La, a bartending school in the city, has come up with three summer chillers, which not only beat the heat but also boosts energy and spirits.

Shangri La Fizz

Ingredients:

6 small pieces of orange (unpeeled), 6 small pieces of lemon (unpeeled), one teaspoon of sugar and 120 ml of cranberry juice, 5 ml of Monin orange flavor syrup and soda water for topping.

Method:

Add orange and lemon pieces in a tall glass along with sugar syrup and muddle them. (Muddling should be done only for 6 to 8 times). Add ice, cranberry juice, orange flavor syrup and top with soda water. Stir lightly and serve chilled.


Blue Ocean

Ingredients:

15 ml of sour mix (mix of lemon juice and sugar syrup), 10 ml of vanilla flavor, 15 ml of blue curacao and soda for additional topping.

Method:

Fill the glass with ice cubes and add the ingredients as mentioned in the order above. Stir with a spoon and serve with lemon decorated.


Shangri La Punch

Ingredients:

Half of a peeled banana, 90 ml of orange juice, 90 ml of mango juice and 5 ml of green lime syrup.

Method:

Blend banana, orange juice and mango juice in a blender and pour it into a cocktail glass. Top with green lime syrup and serve chilled.
