GITAM bags CIMA award
UK based Chartered Institute of Management Accounting (CIMA), has adjudged BBA (Management Accounting) offered by GITAM University as the embedded programme in India for the year 2014-15. CIMA India country head Debasish Biswas announced the award at the national conference for CIMA learning partners
Hyderabad: UK based Chartered Institute of Management Accounting (CIMA), has adjudged BBA (Management Accounting) offered by GITAM University as the embedded programme in India for the year 2014-15. CIMA India country head Debasish Biswas announced the award at the national conference for CIMA learning partners in a ceremony in Mumbai recently and presented the award to GITAM Institute of Management Vice-Principal P Sheela and program coordinator T Phani Kumar.
GITAM Institute of Management (GIM) designed a new curriculum in the BBA programme with a combination of CIMA subjects. GITAM signed a MoU with CIMA to run this innovative programme from the academic year 2013. CIMA qualification offers careers in Business, Finance and Accounting areas. CIMA is the oldest and most recognised qualification accepted by over 4,500 employers, mostly comprising multi-national companies.
