Brilliant chess champs

BS Jaitheerth of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Uppal, won the juniors category in the 108th Brilliant Trophy Chess Tournament. Jaitheerth scored six points in as many rounds at the Brilliant Grammar High School in Dilsukhnagar while Spandan Pati secured the second spot with 5.5 points and Rohith Yadav the third with 5 points.

In the open category SK Abdul Azeez and Shanmukhateja tied for the first place with 5.5 points in 6 rounds. SK Abdul Azeez won the event, Shanmukhateja got second and Chandrahas secured the third place with 4.5 points.
