Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya launched three new social security schemes in Hanamkonda on Saturday. He launched Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyothi Bima Yojana and Atal Pension Yojana, at a programme at University Arts College auditorium in Hanamkonda at the same time as the Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched them in Kolkata.

Addressing the gathering on the occasion, Dattatreya stated that Central government was committed for the welfare of the poorer sections. Many innovative programmes were being introduced by the government aiming to support the people with meagre wages. As part of which the three schemes were launched, he said. Similarly it was being planned to issue Samajika Suraksha smart cards to 39 crore unorganised labourers to avail benefits of Aam Admi Yojana, old age pension and others schemes being implemented by the Centre.
