Renowned Hapkido instructor Master M Sardar Shaikh arrived in the city on Monday to conduct the first ever Hapkido training seminar for women in Telangana. Renowned Hapkido instructor Master M Sardar Shaikh arrived in the city on Monday to conduct the first ever Hapkido training seminar for women in Telangana. Shaikh who is a resident of Mumbai is the founder and president of Hapkido Federation India (HFI). He holds a Black Belt 6th Dan in Taekwondo and Black Belt 5th Dan in Hapkido HFI has been taking courses for women in self defence since its inception in 1999 to empower the vulnerable members of the society.
Hapkido is a Korean martial art for self defence. Shaikh has been teaching martial arts in Mumbai since 1979. Many celebrities like Isha Koppikar, Sonu Sood, Inder Kumar, Lucky Ali and Muzammil Ibrahim etc. have been trained by him. Hapkido Federation India (HFI) in association with Hapkido Association Telangana (HAT) is conducting a training seminar only for women on Tuesday at Hotel ITC Grand Kakatiya from 10 am.
