After the five-day Swachh Hyderabad programme, it is now the turn of the South Central Railway (SCR) to reach out to the people and take up special drives and campaigns focusing on aspects such as cleanliness and sanitation, safety and security, customer interaction, punctuality, vigilance check, catering services and ticket checking.

Railyatri/Upbhokta Pakhwada, a passenger and customer facilitation fortnight, starting May 26 to June 9 coincides with the celebrations being held all over Indian Railways to mark a year of accomplishments for the organisation.The fortnight will also focus on steps to involve various sections of the society by means of road shows, skill development programmes, yoga and ayurveda camps, health checkup camps etc.
