Hyderabad Hindu Janajagruthi Samiti protested at Dharna Chowk on Sunday against the Telangana government for approving Urdu as the first language of the State. The group also dissented against the Centre’s proposal to acquire gold from Hindu temples in the name of development.

Chandra Moger from the Hindu Jana Jagruti Samiti, said, “Does the State belong to the TRS? The government has also announced many sops for the Muslims. Tomorrow TRS may announce Telangana as Islamic State! To avoid this situation, we all have united ti oppose the move taken by the TRS.”
