Launching a safety training programme on Induction Furnaces, Steel Rolling Mills at Shadnagar on Tuesday the collector said, “Mahabubnagar has tremendous potential in the industrial front.


Safety should be given utmost importance in industries, especially in new factories. We should make it an incident-free district.” She asked the managements to provide inbuilt safety equipments. The collector also released a booklet on safety for the benefit of work force.

Inspector of factories K Srinivasa Rao took the initiative of conducting safety training for workers to avoid any untoward incident in factories. More than 400 workers, management representatives and officials took part in the programme. “The training programme aims at updation of safety in steel industries in view of recent accidents,” he added. Joint Director of Insurance Medical Services Dr Padma and Suhhana Group MD G Srinivasa Raju were also present.
