Bringing mountains to life on canvas. For the joy of art lovers, ‘Mystic Mountains’, an art show by senior artist Vijay Kumar Somanchi is being held at Aakriti Art Gallery of the Cultural Centre of Vijayawada at Madhu Malaxmi Chambers.
For the joy of art lovers, ‘Mystic Mountains’, an art show by senior artist Vijay Kumar Somanchi is being held at Aakriti Art Gallery of the Cultural Centre of Vijayawada at Madhu Malaxmi Chambers. The exhibition inaugurated by artist SV Rama Rao will have about 30 artworks of Vijay Kumar on display at the four-day exhibition being organised by the Telugu World Artists Art Society (TWAAS).
Speaking on the occasion, Rama Rao appreciated Vijay Kumar for capturing the beauty of mountains and landscapes on canvas. “Many of his artworks are adorning the walls of corporate offices because Vijay Kumar pours life into them with his artistry,” Rama Rao said.
Aakriti Art Gallery chairman Y Harish Chandra Prasad, Cultural Centre of Vijayawada chief executive officer E Sivanagi Reddy, SIRIS Company director Kanumuri Annapurna and others were present. A good number of art lovers visited the exhibition on the first day.
