From Sukesh to Amrutha, one thing that proved to be instrumental in getting them the jobs is their internships. Sharing his excitement and joy for having grabbed such a placement, Velagaleti Bhaskar a resident of Patancheru said, “I am thrilled and delighted to be representing Hyderabad on the cruise line.

The whole idea of serving my delicacies in the cruise makes me happy.” During his training, Bhaskar had also interned with hotels in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Bhaskar feels that the internship has been instrumental in his placement; as he goes on to credit his parents and the college staff for training him.

Kale Sukesh, a resident of Himayathsagar, has also interned with hotels in the UAE. “I come from a family of cooks and have been interested in cooking since my childhood. Everyone in the family right from my grandfather to my dad is a cook,” he says. But what Sukesh and his family are proud of was he that he was the first from his family to travel overseas to work in famous kitchens.

The two assistant cooks are asked to join the cruise line for continental cuisine. All the students selected are now preparing to appear for their final exams and will be joining in duty either in July or August.
