50 % concession for scribes’ children. West Godavari district Collector K Bhaskar has agreed to give a 50 per cent fee concession to the children of journalists in private schools in the district.
West Godavari district Collector K Bhaskar has agreed to give a 50 per cent fee concession to the children of journalists in private schools in the district. He directed the District Educational Officer (DEO) Madhusudana Rao to issue orders to all private schools in this regard.

According to Andhra Pradesh Union of Working Journalist (APUWJ), Eluru Journalists Welfare Association, Electronic Media Association the concession scheme will be effective from the present academic year.
The members of APUWJ G Raghuram, GVSN Raju, D Ramanjaneyulu and B Ravikumar, Electronic Media Association President K Manikyala Rao, Eluru Journalists Association leaders Muralikrishnamraju, Gangaraju said that they submitted a memorandum to the Collector K Bhaskar and Women and Child Welfare Minister P Sujatha in this regard.
