He emphasised on the core values of ‘Mission, Integrity and Excellence’ in pursuit of operational readiness as well as in achieving highest standards of training of air warriors. Jyoti Rai interacted with women officers and staff of the station and applauded them for the concerted and continued support they render to their husbands in performing their duties diligently.


The Air Marshal will be retiring from service on July 31 after rendering 39 years of service. A highly experienced and decorated fighter pilot, Ramesh Rai has flown various aircraft in the inventory of the Indian Air Force which includes GNATs and Jaguar. He has been recently appointed as the Honorary Air ADC to the President of India.
