Operation clean-up at Ramanna Kunta Lake. Due to heavy rains for the past few days, Ramanna Kunta Lake has been overflowing and the filth has surrounded the water.
Due to heavy rains for the past few days, Ramanna Kunta Lake has been overflowing and the filth has surrounded the water. SCB ward member K Pandu Yadav made arrangements for cleaning the hyacinth and other filth with the help of cantonment board sanitation staff.

The works will go on for a few more days to clear hyacinth. Drainage water of Saibaba Colony, Sita Rampur, Bhavana Colony, Sri Ram Nagar, Ram Reddy Colony and others are merged with the lake. Over 1,200 families live around the lake and had previously complained of stink, mosquitoes and inundation of water from the lake during rainy seasons.
