Lion Patan Ummar Khan, founder chairman of Helen Keller’s Institute of Research and Rehabilitation for the Disabled Children, Bank Colony, RK Puram, has received the ‘Out Standing Achievement Award for 2014-15’ from Lion Joe Preston, president, Lions International, USA, for helping the deaf and for leading the outstanding district team. The award was handed over by district governor Lion M Prem Kumar on Sunday at Lions Bhavan, Secunderabad.
