The event marked the second day of the three-day cultural festival in memory of Hasya Brahma Jandhyala which had commenced with a dance recital by a disciple of Ghantasala Pavan Kumar.
Presiding over the programmes, veteran journalist Turlapati Kutumba Rao lauded the social consciousness of Jandhyala who made the film ‘Nelavanka’ to spread the message of communal harmony.
Kalamanjari Cultural Organisation felicitated GDV Prasada Rao, P Vijaya Bhaskara Sarma and K Syam Prasad on the occasion. Devineni Aparna, Kota Jayaraju, Koganti Satyanarayana, Vemula Hajarataiah Gupta, GRK Murthy, Pilla Laksmi Prasad and others were present at the event.
