But offline photography has its own charm and we ought to remember the timeless pictures. In a hunt to keep the roots of photography alive, city-based commercial and documentary photographer Kishor Krishnamoorthi has started concordezine, a bi-monthly magazine to print offline photo from across India.

With this magazine, he wants to interact with the people by selecting different issues that are involved in Indian society. Concorde showcases photo stories and attempts to build a platform to connect lensmen and viewers on a large scale outside the internet.

The magazine was launched by Guntur MP Galla Jayadev at the Kalakriti Art Gallery recently. Telugu movie ‘Avakai Biryani’ fame Kamal Kamaraju also attended in the event. In the first issue, Kishor focused on CHAI in the magazine.

“People in Hyderabad love chai and have a cuppa either at a tea stall for Rs 6 or at a café worth over Rs 100. Concorde magazine went around different places around the city and captured some pictures which have been printed in the magazine in A5 size. This magazine has 32 pages,” said Kishor.

“The magazine is about photography in print form. In India lot of photographers prefer to the showcase online photos. Photos are mean to be printed. If you look at screen you cannot interact with the photo. In print, it is possible. Concorde offers a platform, where people connect to the effective photo stories throughout India,” he added.

Kishor also started a multimedia website for the younger crowd. In this website- audio, video and image contents of the different issues will be covered. “The website will be in conjunction with the print issue. Every two months we will have one issue.

Giving his verdict on the magazine, Jayadev says, “He is good friend of mine. The theme of this magazine is excellent and highlighting CHAI in the first attempt is great. I’m wishing the entire team all the best.”
