South Indian hoteliers’ convention next month. The South India Hotels & Restaurants Association (SIHRA) will be organising ‘SIHRA Convention 2015’ from July 2-4 at Taj Krishna.

The South India Hotels & Restaurants Association (SIHRA) will be organising ‘SIHRA Convention 2015’ from July 2-4 at Taj Krishna. The event will provide a platform for hoteliers and restaurateurs from Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala to meet and discuss the trends and opportunities in the hospitality sector. The convention will see participation from more than 600 delegates from south India.

The convention will focus on the theme ‘Redefining Hospitality & Monetizing Tourism’, and it aims towards changing technology in human resource management along with other emerging concepts in F&B and restaurants. The business sessions spanning over the three days will be delivered by eminent speakers from the industry, it will be both educative and motivating.

A special session with members of the department of tourism both at the regional and national level is also being considered to ensure a direct interface for the participants with the government. There will be a trade show on the sidelines of the convention where leading suppliers and organisations related to the hospitality industry are expected to showcase their products and services.

Speaking on the occasion, K Syama Raju, president SIHRA, said, “South India is one of fastest growing market in the country with a strong potential and growth for the hospitality sector. The convention will provide a forum to create synergies and educative opportunities for the key players in the sector.”
