CME on diabetic retinopathy on Sunday. The Andhra Pradesh Ophthalmological Society (APOS) and Dr NTR University of Health Sciences will jointly organise a Continuing Medical Education (CME) workshop on Diabetic Retinopathy at Hotel Park in the city on Sunday.

The Andhra Pradesh Ophthalmological Society (APOS) and Dr NTR University of Health Sciences will jointly organise a Continuing Medical Education (CME) workshop on Diabetic Retinopathy at Hotel Park in the city on Sunday. Vice-Chancellor of University of Health and Sciences, T Ravi Raju will inaugurate the workshop comprising of four sessions.

Dr Rajiv Raman, Dr Y Sadasiva Rao, Dr Tara Prasad Das and Dr Mahesh will deliver lectures on `Diabetic Retinopathy – Clinical Diseases’ in the first session of the workshop to be held under the aegis of Aravinda Retina Vitreous Institute.

In the second session, Dr GV Narendra will speak on `Pathophysiology of Diabetic Retinopathy'. Dr Sambasiva Rao and Dr Tara Prasad will deliver lectures on latest advancements in the field of ophthalmology in the third session.

In the final session, Dr Narendra will conduct a quiz programme for the participants. The workshop will also cover `Diabetic Blindness’ and other related topics. A large number of ophthalmologists and medical students from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States will attend the workshop, Dr Sambasiva Rao added.
