iBall has launched a new smartphone in India, the Andi Avonte 5, priced at Rs. 5,999. The company says the smartphone will be available to buy across the country within the next two weeks. The highlight of the iBall Andi Avonte 5 is its rotating 8-megapixel autofocus camera with dual-LED flash that can be used both as a rear camera and a front-facing camera.

The smartphone also comes with read and write support for 21 regional languages, and system language support for 9 regional languages. The iBall Andi Avonte 5 is a dual-SIM smartphone that runs on Android 4.4 KitKat, and features a 5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixel) IPS display. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor that's coupled with 1GB of RAM.

The Andi Avonte 5 bears 8GB of built-in storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). Connectivity options on the smartphone include 3G (HSPA+), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and FM radio. It is powered by a 2150mAh battery. Commenting on the launch, Sandeep Parasrampuria, Director at iBall, said, "iBall Andi Avonte 5 with its 180 degree rotating camera, rich looks and superb features will surely be the best smart phone under Rs. 6,000 in the Indian market."

iBall recently launched another camera-focused smartphone, the iBall mSLR Cobalt 4, at Rs. 8,499. The smartphone's highlights are the four detachable mSLR lenses that come bundled with the package. The bundles lenses included for the handset are zoom lens with 8x zooming power, fish eye lens with 175-180 degree viewing angle, macro lens with 10x magnification and 10-15mm minimum object distance, and wide-angle lens with 130 degree viewing angle.
