PAC suggests steps to improve sports in Telangana

The Public Accounts Committee (PAC), Telangana Secretariat, met on Thursday to consider and examine audit paras pertaining to the YAT & C Department. Among the various issues that came up for discussion, the usage of sports tower figured prominently and the committee felt that it should be put to optimum use within six months.

SATS VC & MD gave a brief presentation on SATS activities and Sports Infrastructure. “Sports Department should take steps for promotion of Sports in the State of Telangana. SATS being the apex body should coordinate with other sports departments towards conducting sports tournaments and to take sports to a new level in Telangana State,” suggested PAC.
