Over 65 students of the Social Welfare Residential Magnet School and Junior College for Girls at Mahendra Hills, who were admitted in the Fever Hospital in Nallkunta in the weekend for food poisoning, were discharged on Thursday. However three are still at under observation at the hospital and two have been admitted to the Osmania General Hospital for further check up.

Over 65 students of the Social Welfare Residential Magnet School and Junior College for Girls at Mahendra Hills, who were admitted in the Fever Hospital in Nallkunta in the weekend for food poisoning, were discharged on Thursday. According to Dr K Shanker, superintendent of Fever Hospital, “The rest have been kept under observation and their condition is stable. They are likely to be discharged on Friday.” B Deepak Kumar, chairman, Telangana JAC, and its members staged a dharna against Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, who holds the portfolio of social welfare, for not visiting the dalit students. They demanded necessary action to be taken against the people responsible for the incident.
