Rise of the caped crusader

The most dangerous man on the planet is Batman’ says Superman. The hype for batman has increased tremendously in the past few years. The character has experienced a new breath of life after the turn of 90’s. Batman is perhaps one of the most popular comic book characters. Ask anyone who their favourite superhero is and 99 per cent of the time, you’ll hear the word Batman roll of the tongue.

Batman Day is being celebrated today to commemorate the historical achievements of this character at Heart Cup Coffee, Kondapur. The event is being hosted by Comic Con India and a huge array of batman themed drinks and their like are being organised.

Why has batman achieved so much fame? Why the sudden boost in his image? Credit can probably be given to the recent technological revolution which has helped visionaries portray him as the dark and gritty character that he is. The following streams have breathed fresh life into a character that was on the danger of slipping into obscurity!

To celebrate the success of Batman, HCC is also offering discounts on people who are cosplaying as him! This can be called as a reinforcement of Nolan’s idea that Batman can be anyone. He is not a man under a mask, he is an ideal and an icon, he is the justice that people sometimes need but don’t deserve. No wonder he is called the Dark Knight.
