Four or five cell phone numbers that of police and family members and friends can be fed into the apps and when a woman using the cellphone is in danger or under attack, she can immediately alert the police by a click of a button.

The pressed button alerts all the fed cell numbers of persons and also gives them hints of their geographical location including photographing the persons attacking the woman and the location. Those in receipt of alerts can know the distance and geographical location to immediately come to their rescue of the beleaguered woman.

The word Savor in french language literally means an appeal to 'save'. Rambika developed the app keeping in view the recent increasing attacks on women and with a view to come to the rescue of women in distress.

ECE final year student M.Anil also developed an Android based app which can detect the rising BP, oxygen or sugar levels and alert their personal physician for rendering instant aid to the patient without actually seeing a doctor. The app through an SMS alerts a doctor on the status of patient's health for taking remedial measures.

It costed Rs.7,000 for the student to develop the app. Anil says that the app will be aboon to pateints with emergency health problems. Vignan chairman L.Rathaiah has congratulated the students as well as the project guide Y.Ravi Sekhar and ECE head of department N.Usha Rani for the performance of students.
