Hafele design awards given away. The tenth Hafele Design awards presentation was held at the Cyber City convention centre on Saturday. The design awards are given to recognise the creative talent of interior designers from the two Telugu speaking states.

The awards were categorised into seven categories. Commercial, Public Spaces-A, Public Spaces-B, Residential Spaces, Residential Spaces-2, Hospitality, Young Designers and Jury special award. Sanjana Lingala, member of IIID (Institute of Interior Designers) Hyderabad who bagged an award in the young designers category said, “The client is always kept in mind while designing.

The client’s idea of concept and space is paramount and we work towards it. To make a difference in the lives of people and customer satisfaction is something that makes work even more satisfying.” “Interior design sets the mood”, says Shweta who was the first runner up in Hospitality category.
She is also a member of IIID-Hyderabad. When asked about continues hours of work architects need to spend she said, “The amount of hard work we put in to create the design is worth it once we see a smile on the face of a client”. “Design field has no shortage of work, you meet new people daily”, she added.
