Artist cherishes his encounter with APJ

City artist Kolusu Subramanyam recollected his encounter with the late former president, APJ Abdul Kalam. The artist had gifted Kalam his sketched portrait during his recent visit to the city.

Recollecting his proud moment, Subramanyam said, Abdul Kalam, who immensely liked the portrait, gifted me a pen in return. I felt really proud on receiving the appreciation of the former President for my art work. I would cherish the moments spent with the great visionary and statesman throughout my life.’’
